Memorial websites for funeral homes

A funeral home can offer each family a private memorial website and a printed book as part of the arrangement. With Kept, a director fills in one short form, we build the page by the next business day under your home’s name, and the book reaches the family about six weeks later. Your home earns 20% of each package.

How does it fit into an arrangement?

Offer it alongside the other options. If the family says yes, a director fills in one short form with the obituary and any photos you have. We build the page by the next business day, and the passphrase goes on the service card.

  1. Arrangement: offer it, and send the form if the family says yes.
  2. Next business day: we build the page from the obituary, the photos and what the family tells us.
  3. Service week: friends start adding photos and memories. Times and directions are on the page.
  4. About six weeks: the book goes to print, and reaches the family with your home’s name inside the cover.

What does it cost the family, and what does the home earn?

Packages are $750, $1,950 and $3,200 at suggested retail, with no subscription. Your home earns 20% of each: $150, $390 and $640.

The funeral homes page lists what each package includes.

Does our staff need training?

No. A director fills in one short form at the arrangement and sends the obituary and any digital photos. We handle the building, the family support and the printing.

Whose name is on it?

Yours. Your home’s name and logo are on every page, on the service card insert, and inside the book.

How is it different from our tribute wall?

A tribute wall is usually public and tied to the obituary. A Kept page is private behind a passphrase, designed around one person, and ends in a printed book the family keeps, long after the flowers are gone.

Private or public explains why families share more on a private page.

How do we see one?
